I first contacted Angela about personal training about five months after giving birth. Although I had lost some weight I did not feel as strong or as fit as I would have liked, and I wanted some advice, help, and motivation to get me going again. Three months on and I am feeling much stronger and more flexible. My posture feels better and my fitness level has significantly improved. I particularly like the fact that Angela tailors the exercises to the individual, and the between-session contact and support really helps me to keep focused and motivated. Angela designed a specific programme for me concentrating on core areas which I could quite easily do on my own or when I met up with her. The great thing about Angela is that she motivated without making me feel that I was pushing too hard and endangering myself or the baby. The end result has been that I have been physically and even more importantly mentally fit through out the pregnancy. I have put on very little weight other than on my expanding tummy and everyone comments on how great I look. I am also hopefully going to have a home birth and that is largely due to the fact that I feel my body is strong enough to cope – all thanks to Angela.
